27 Weeks (The Baby is the Size of a Cauliflower)

How far along? 27 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: 16 lbs.

Maternity clothes? Continuing to mix old clothes with new maternity clothes. Although some of my dresses look at little short!!!

Stretch marks? Nope

Sleep: Surprisingly BETTER... I still have the heartburn but TUMS are magical!

 Best moment this week: With out a doubt our 4D Ultrasound. We shared the experience with both of our moms & my mom even upgraded our package :) Now we have a 20 minute video and 74 pictures! Whoa...that sound extreme...BUT I LOVE IT!!! She is absolutely beautiful! I posted some pictures below!

New nursery plans: Same plans but we did purchase the IKEA light and my Dad and Uncle Mike are coming to install a ceiling light in her room :)

Miss Anything? I miss being able to lean over counters and tables WITHOUT a big belly in the way!

Movement: A lot of movement and most at night!

Food cravings: UGH Chocolate anything... why can't I crave fruit and veggies???

Happy or Moody most of the time: Okay I was kind of moody this week. I almost cried because I left my cell phone at home and we didn't go get it! <~~~this is coming from the girl who never has her phone near by & never answers!

26 Weeks (The Baby is the Size of a Lettuce)

How far along? 26 weeks

Sleep: Ugghhhhh Toss & Turn ALLLLL NIGHT

 Best moment this week: Relaxing! I have a three day weekend with NO major plans!

New nursery plans: See Below for PICTURES!!! Thank you to my wonderful mom for contributing A LOT to the furniture fund and my amazing husband/DADDY for "making it rain" with his extra NZONE Sports income! :) We have now purchased the crib, dresser & bookcase!!! I am a lucky girl!

Miss Anything? Being able to "easily" paint my toes...I can still do it but it is a VERY awkward sight! Oh well we ALL know pedicures are better!

Movement: ALL DAY :) I am even starting to feel body parts and trying to guess what they are :)

Food cravings: Cream Cheese Swirl Brownies...DELICIOUS!!!! I even bought an extra box for my next craving. Oh yes, I am thinking ahead!

  Anything making you queasy or sick: Nasty smells!

 Have you started to show yet: Yes! This belly is growing EVERY day!

Labor Signs: No BUT, we did learn about the signs of "preterm labor" ... now (OF COURSE) I freak out when I have a little back pain!

Nursery Painting, Floorplan & Decor Update

We finally painted the nursery and now it seems like everything is falling into place :) Here are some BEFORE, DURING & AFTER shots of the painting project. The room was a very pale purple and Mike said "If it's a girl then we don't have to paint!" Well he was wrong... you would think he would know that with me things are never that easy :)

So even though our baby is indeed a girl, purple will not be the color of the walls. Instead we decided between three shades of gray! I picked out the three colors and let Mike pick the winner...good thing he liked the same one as I did!!!

We had lots of help (including our cat CoCo) with the painting since I am technically not "allowed" to breathe in the fumes. Mike started us off with painting Kylee's name <3

 

Now the room is a beautiful light gray & we have blinds :) I am planning on a silver curtain rod with crystals at both ends and long light pink curtains.

We also measured the room and discussed furniture placement. I must say Mike is a lot better at visualizing furniture than me! I am the girl that moves the furniture from place to place until...

 "It looks perfect!"

And here are so of the items we have picked out for Kylee's room! I can't even pick my favorite BECAUSE I love it ALL!!!!

25 Weeks (Baby is the Size of an Eggplant...finally growing)

How far along? 25 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: 14 lbs. <~~~funny story for this one! My friend Beth and I were at Bed Bath & Beyond and since I do not own a scale (I usually use the one at Publix or the doctor visits) I decided to use one of their displays. Well, I hop on and it shows that I gained 25 lbs...I FREAKED OUT!!! I thought it was broken when in fact I was still wearing my purse... I know a 10 lb purse is ridiculous! Then my mom tells me "You do know the scale will say that number pretty soon??" THANKS MOM :)

Maternity clothes? Mixing old clothes with new maternity clothes.

Stretch marks? Nope...I like this answer!

Sleep: Going back to work has made me exhausted and in turn has made me fall asleep & stay asleep! Yay!!!

 Best moment this week: Going to the Circus!! Wow the things those people can do... AMAZING! I can't wait to take Kylee!

New nursery plans: We made an official decision on ALL the furniture...now to pay for it and start setting up. Also picked out the bedding! It will be light pink sheets with  "Light Gray Damask" bumpers and crib skirt. I will post pictures once we purchase this stuff!

Miss Anything? Being able to "easily" get up off the carpet with my Kindergartners. I'm not sure how much longer I will be able to sit with them!

Movement: So much movement! Mike and I actually watched my stomach move as she changed positions. We laughed... a lot!

Food cravings: Pasta...mmmmmmmm

 Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing :)

 Have you started to show yet: Yes...and people keep saying WOW when are you due? <~~~how should I take this comment...

24 Weeks (Baby is STILL the size of a Papaya????)

How far along? 24 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: 13 lbs.

Maternity clothes? I am enjoying my yoga pants and tank tops...back to work (with work clothes) soon though :(

Stretch marks? Nope... BUT I am stretching BIG time!

Sleep: Still not an ideal sleeping arrangement but the wedge is REALLY helping!

 Best moment this week: Painting the nursery... I can't say it enough BUT I am so excited about this room!

New nursery plans: I took Mike to look at the crib choices :)

Miss Anything? Back to missing WINE...this New Year's Eve will be pretty boring!!

Movement:Yes I actually saw my stomach move...I'm pretty sure Kylee's head was pushing out of my left side!

Food cravings: Brownies...however Publix didn't have my favorite kind so the ones I bought were quite disappointing!

 Anything making you queasy or sick: NO NO NO I am even taking flintstone chewable regular pre-natal vitamins again!!

Looking forward to: Starting our birthing classes. We have a class every Monday from 6:30-8:30 pm for 4 weeks. Week 2 shows a birthing video...I'm not sure how I feel about this...
